REPORT OF INTERACTIVE SESSION OF EKITI STATE YOUTH WITH GOVERNOR, DR JOHN KAYODE FAYEMI ON 1ST OF NOVEMBER 2020
The session started around 2pm on Sunday and I am able to ask Mr. Governor the following questions.
I tasked Him to use his good office as the chairman of Nigeria Governor's forum to speak to the presidency to give the exited Npower beneficiaries exit package.
Also I asked him for his plan for the exited 12,000 beneficiaries in Ekiti State that it won't be good for us to go back to the street after we have been trained for over 2years in the program.
Governor's Response
He said work is ongoing seriously at the presidency about the exit package , that we should expect it soonest.
On the second question. He said some of the beneficiaries applied in the State recruitment and some has been picked. He also said those in Nagro will be considered soon in a program coming up in Ministry of Agric.
Thirdly he said five of the beneficiaries has been given appointment at FUOYE of which I told him I knew about two appointments and the Governor said he will investigate about the remaining three. The former president Mr. Damilare may wish to provide further details about the remaining three.
The session ended around 4pm.
Thanks.
