N-Power Lagos: Summary Of The Sensitization Workshop Held 10/11/2020

The program begins with prayers and the the commissioner came in  and also the LAGHA honorable member house committee on Wealth and Employment. The meeting was delayed for over an hour as the Governor presented the 2021 budget today to the Lagos State House of Assembly. So the meeting was basically about entrepreneurship or self employment as they said is the key,  Knowing who you are, your strength and weakness. We should be solution provider and job provider and not job seekers. We should all focus on entrepreneurship rather than white collar job. Two speakers spoke extensively on that. N-Power volunteers were given opportunity to ask questions and as expected many bombs were dropped as questions. Mr Felix was part of the people that ask questions. They answered by saying we should always explore Lagos state government website's like LSTEF to utilize the opportunity available there as regards to start up capital. For those that applied for the internship program that we all will be considered as another round of test will be sent to our email addresses as they have received reports about the difficulty of the questions and the Governor will be communicated to as regards the willing and able Nteach volunteers for likely absorption. A portal or online presence will be created for the N-Power Alumni for seemless  information and collaboration.
