N-Power: What N-Power Batch C Should Get Ready For

Lots of N-Power Batch C applicants have been asking what N-Power Batch A and B went through during their period of the N-Power program, so that they can also prepare for theirs, that is, the upcoming N-Power Batch C program.

Well here is what you should know briefly as an N-Power Batch C applicant, from the period of N-Power physical verification, N-Power deployment and when you actually start working at your individual places of primary assignment, (please note, due to the current Ministry there might be slight variations in the entire process).

During the N-Power physical verification list of successful N-Power Batch C applicants will be placed on the notice board at all the 774 Local Government Areas of the Federation.

All N-Power Batch C applicants will have to confirm if their names is on the list, prior to that you will be required to take all the documents you uploaded on your N-Power NASIMS portal, if an N-Power Batch C applicant's name is on the list, the N-Power Batch C applicant will be called into a multipurpose hall at the Local Government Area and proceed to be verified by the N-Power verification officers, using their checklist, as you present your documents, they mark, if all is marked correct then an N-Power Batch C applicant has successfully passed the physical verification, although the N-Power Batch C applicant will not be told on-site, most times verification officers are mostly NYSC members.

After the N-Power physical verification, all N-Power Batch C applicants documents, together with the checklist will be taken to Abuja, for further scrutiny, and collation.

During this period an N-Power Batch C applicant might be required to visit his or her NASIMS N-Power portal for one form of update or the other.

After the collation, another list will be sent to districts, from the State Ministries, the districts will use the list to prepare deployment/posting of the N-Power Batch C applicants, according to the N-Power Batch C applicants qualifications, after three days at work you are to obtain an assumption of duty letter from your district, which will be signed, stamped by your Head Of PPA either your Principal or HOD and returned back to the district, three weeks after resumption at your place of primary assignment.

Once an N-Power Batch C applicant starts working the N-Power Batch C applicant is entitled to ₦30,000 stipend, which will be credited into your bank account by the Central Bank of Nigeria, this is the period to expect some heart pounding challenges, although I pray no one should have such experience, and all and sundry gets credit alert, also an N-Power Batch C applicant should also expect some hitches and delay during payment at some intervals as you progress during the course of the N-Power program which is normal.

As an N-Power Batch C applicant is working you will be monitored, please always avoid absenteeism at your place of primary assignment, even if you have to be absent due to some challenges or another please make it written and submit it to your Departmental Head or Principal, you might not know, but during the course of the N-Power program, the district will demand for list of abscondees from the Head Of Department or from your Principal, a lot of previous N-Power volunteers were flagged for absconding and were not being paid up till date, even if it is a day excuse, always put it in writing and inform your superiors in order to avoid stories that touch.
