How The Npower Payment Process Works

Here is how the payment process works, after approval and endorsement of the list of eligible Npower volunteers to be paid has been made by the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, in collaboration with the Permanent Secretary, the approved list is sent to the Accountant General of the Federation for vetting, after the list has been vetted and scrutinized it is forwarded to the Central Bank of Nigeria for disbursement of payment, the Central Bank of Nigeria in conjunction with the Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement Scheme (NIBSS) makes payment to Npower volunteers' bank, during this payment process due to network instability in server systems in Nigeria, the disbursement might not achieve 100% and this might cause a reversal in payment, during this period some Npower volunteers might not be that lucky, to be credited, so the process is overhauled and repeated again.

If your Npower NASIMS dashboard payroll status is neither showing 'pending' nor 'processing' you will not be paid, although payment has been paused temporarily due to technical issues between CBN and Nigeria Interbank Settlement Scheme, Npower volunteers having payment issues on their dashboard are to send their accurate banking informations and their Npower ID to support.npower@nasims.gov.ng to have their individual issues fixed.
