Npower Batch C Will Last For 1 Year

The Npower Batch C programme will last for one year, the Npower Batch C programme is divided into two categories namely; 

A) The Graduate Category: This category includes the N-Agro, N-Teach and N-Health this category is for graduates with the following documents below:

1) OND

2) NCE

3) HND

4) BSC

Under the Npower graduate category, Npower volunteers are paid a monthly stipend of ₦30,000 for one year.

The N-Agro volunteers are deployed to Agricultural Agencies to work as agricultural extension service workers, and to proffer solutions to farmers on best practices to boost their farm produce.

The N-Teach volunteers are posted to state government owned public schools either primary schools or secondary schools to act as facilitators for learning and to assist existing teachers to facilitate learning and teaching delivery, methodologies and learning evaluations.

The N-Health volunteers are posted to primary health care centres to assist health workers, others are deployed to the state local government secretariats to assist environmental health workers.

B) The Non Graduate Category: The non graduate category will last for 6 months, the first three months will see non graduate volunteers posted to their camp training centres, during this period the non graduate volunteers are paid their transportation allowances and feeding allowances either before the training or after the training, this varies from state to state, after the three months training, the Npower non graduate volunteers will be assigned to trainers for a further apprenticeship and will be paid ₦10,000 monthly.

The qualifications required for this category includes the following:

1) WASSCE/WAEC

2) GCE

3) NABTEB

4) A-LEVELS 

5) Other recognised under graduate certificates

The non graduate category includes the;

1) N-Tech

2) N-creative

3) N-Build

4) N-Mixology

Non graduate volunteers will be trained on the following areas;

1) Automobile repairs

2) Computer System Design and software programming

3) Catering and hotel management

4) Building Construction

5) Web Designing

6) Animation

7) Mobile Phone Repairs

And a whole lot of other trainings, after apprenticeship the non graduate volunteers will be provided with tool kits which includes laptops, and other devices and equipments needed to harness their job skill set.
