Who A Beneficiary Is
A beneficiary otherwise known as an Npower beneficiary is an Npower volunteer that is under the Npower payroll after completing all the screening stages below, if the Npower volunteer have not completed these stages below he or she remains an Npower Applicant.
STAGES AN NPOWER APPLICANT MUST UNDERGO BEFORE BECOMING A BENEFICIARY
A) Shortlisting Stage: This is the stage whereby the Npower applicant is shortlisted after writing the Npower test online at this stage the Npower applicant is not yet a beneficiary.
B) Biometrics Stage: This is the screening stage in which the fingerprint details of the Npower applicant is captured using the Npower NASIMS biometrics enrollment client software and a fingerprint image scanner, after passing this stage the Npower applicant is not yet a beneficiary.
C) Physical Verification Stage: This is the next screening stage after the Biometrics stage, at this stage all documents and credentials both originals and photocopies are checked by Npower physical verification officers at the physical verification venue, if all documents presented by the Npower applicant matches then the Npower applicant progresses to the deployment stage.
D) Deployment Stage: This is the last stage of the screening process after the physical verification, under this stage the Npower applicant is required to download and print out an acceptance letter and take this letter to his or her place of primary assignment, this acceptance letter is signed and stamped by an assigned supervisor, after this acceptance letter is signed, this acceptance letter otherwise known as deployment letter is to be uploaded back to the deployment page of the nasims self service portal, it is after this acceptance letter is uploaded that the Npower applicant now becomes an Npower beneficiary and is automatically added to the payroll and his or her payment status is updated and the beneficiary can start receiving payments into his or her bank account.
