Why You Are An Npower Shortlisted Candidate And An Npower Applicant After Login Into The Portal

If you are an Npower prospective volunteer and after logging into your nasims self service portal and on the overview page you see "shortlisted" displayed under your Npower category, but on your verification page you see "applicant", the reason why you are seeing this is because of the following below.

1) You were shortlisted for the Npower programme but you did not pass the biometrics screening process.

2) You were not selected for the Npower physical verification exercise.

The above reasons are why you are seeing "shortlisted" and "applicant" on your nasims overview profile page and verification page respectively.

Under the Npower programme being an Npower applicant simply means that you failed any of the Npower screening process either the biometrics, physical verification or deployment stage.
