Npower Payment To Resume After Investigation

According to Npower News on Npower payment, Npower batch c should kindly note that Npower payment will resume after all investigations associated with Npower must have been concluded. Npower payment cannot start when investigation is still ongoing in the Ministry. Investigation will last for six weeks on the expiration of six weeks then Npower payment will start.

Npower payment was suspended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because of alleged misappropriation of funds by Betta Edu, Sadiya Umar Farouq and Ms Halima Shehu in the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. Betta Edu was summoned by EFCC because she made a request for a transfer of public funds into a personal account, Sadiya Umar Farouq was summoned because of misappropriation of funds for Npower beneficiaries, Ms Halima Shehu was interrogated by EFCC because of misappropriation of funds in the National Social Investment Programme Agency.

According to Npower News, Betta Edu is cooperating fully with EFCC, Betta Edu has a slim chance of retaining her position as the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation even when the investigation is over, Betta Edu if found guilty will cease to become the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu is one of the youngest Ministers appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and was praised for effecting a one month payment to Npower batch c few months after resumption of her duties as the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
