Recall that few days ago the National Chairman Comrade Mohammad Habibu Abubakar made an urgent appeal for fatherly intervention on the issue of Npower payment to beneficiaries of Npower Batch C.
According to Npower News, the National Chairman Comrade Mohammad Habibu Abubakar made an urgent appeal to Maulana Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi on the issues of unpaid stipends to beneficiaries of Npower batch c the letter of appeal goes thus:
"Assalamualaikum Warahamatulla, Dear Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi,
The national association of Npower beneficiaries is seeking your fatherly intervention over our unpaid 9-12 months outstanding stipends held deliberately by Federal Government under the ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
The association will like to inform you our learned Sheikh that the federal government had approved our 9 months outstanding stipends since the month of December 2023, yet nobody was paid despite the Presidential directives to that effect.
We have complained on various occasions on social media, we've even mobilized some of our members on numerous occasions for a protest in Abuja and we have been trying to seek audience with relevant stakeholders related to the matter all of which are efforts in futility. It is on this note we appeal for the Fatherly intervention of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, OFE considering his influential status in the country and his excellent records of serving as the voice of the cheated and the downtrodden to intervene on this matter by calling the attention of the Federal Government to pay our 9-12 months outstanding stipends and lift the suspension of the National Social Investment Program our offence in this country is that we are over 1 million law abiding University Graduates without Job and have been taken for granted by the Federal Government. Thank you Sheikh."
