According to Npower News today Saturday June 15th 2024, demonstration looms as the Federal Government of Nigeria turns deaf ears to the plights of beneficiaries of Npower batch c. The federal government few weeks ago lifted the suspension of the Conditional Cash Transfer but has since failed to lift the suspension of Npower. Npower batch c beneficiaries are being owed three months, six months, nine months and some beneficiaries even twelve months while some beneficiaries are yet to receive a single Npower payment.

Betta Edu the ex-Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation was suspended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a result of allegations of fraud, but since then beneficiaries of Npower batch c have been left in the dark, no one knows the current status of the investigations between Betta Edu and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in an undisclosed publication someone even said that the ex-Minister has been secretly moved to another department.

Beneficiaries of Npower batch c have said that it seems the federal government of Nigeria has been taken them for granted, and as a result of this a massive protest will commence soon, date yet to be announced. Beneficiaries of Npower batch c have said that they are not interested in the federal government grant but wants their Npower payment to be paid to them because they worked for it. Some Npower batch c beneficiaries are bread winners of their family and depend on this stipends for their upkeep going with the current economic hardship in the country.

The beneficiaries of Npower batch c are given the federal government up until next week to make payment otherwise a massive demonstration will take place at Abuja as well as in other states of the Federation.
