Sequel to the news that went viral few days ago, with respect to the continuation of stipend beyond June/July for both N-Power Batches A & B, the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs is yet to release an official statement, concerning this.

“The Federal Government has announced continued payment of stipends to N-Power 2016 Batch A beneficiaries and N-Power 2018 Batch B beyond the expiry month of June/July 2020.
“A statement issued by Miss Ramatu Umar Senior Special Assistant to the Humanitarian and Disaster Minister on Media and Publicity, on Thursday in Abuja, said funding for the continued payments is contained in the 2021 budget.
“The Senior Special Assistant to the Humanitarian and Disaster Minister on Media and Publicity said, the Federal Government is exploring options to seamlessly move the beneficiaries from the government job programme to positions where they were able to earn a sustainable income.
She said that the transition would be through a plan, designed to enable them become valuable, all-rounded employees, employers or entrepreneurs”.
