4 Reasons Why Npower Payment Have Not Been Cancelled

The January and February payment are yet to be paid by the Npower NASIMS management, but some Npower Batch C Volunteers have been claiming that probably the Npower payment have been cancelled.

The following are reasons why the Npower payment cannot be said to have been cancelled:

REASONS WHY PAYMENT CANNOT BE SAID TO HAVE BEEN CANCELLED

• The Federal Government have increased the maximum number of the Npower Batch C Volunteers to 1 million Npower batch C Volunteers, this means that the Federal Government have increased the Npower program and an increase simply means allocation of more financial resources to execute the Npower program.

• The funds for the Npower Batch C programme is already captured in the National budget.

• Recently the Federal Government of Nigeria in collaboration with the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs flagged off the training of 50,000 Npower non graduate trainees, and these newly onboarded non graduate volunteers will be paid their stipend, since it has been captured in the National budget.

• Recently the Npower NASIMS management through her verified social media handles have confirmed that the delay in payment was due to technical glitches in the payment process.

In conclusion Npower volunteers will continue to be paid until their tenureship comes to an end, there are recommendations for a more robust system of payment for a monthly payment method.
