How to fix "Applicants BVN has been validated already" issues when completing your biometrics

If you are an Npower batch c stream 2 volunteer and in attempting to complete your biometrics fingerprint capture enrollment, after clicking the verification tab to capture your fingerprint you always get the error message pop up saying "Applicants BVN has been validated already" (see attached screenshot) or any other error message, to fix this issue carry out the following procedures:

1) Visit a cybercafe or if you have a laptop please ensure you have the biometrics client prerequisite and the hardware scanner for the biometrics operation. Please at the cybercafe ensure that the cybercafe have the facilities for the biometrics fingerprint enrollment or rather you can use the cybercafe used by previous Npower batch c stream 1 volunteers.

2) Once an Npower batch c stream 2 volunteer is able to access his or her nasims dashboard the Npower batch c stream 2 volunteer should click on “Verification” tab.

3) The Npower batch c stream 2 volunteer should Click on “Capture Your Fingerprint” near the fingerprint icon.

4) The Npower batch c stream 2 volunteer should navigate to the new page “NASIMS (N-POWER) Biometric Client” if this software is not installed, the Npower batch C stream 2 volunteer is expected to see the information below on the new page (https://nasimsbiometric.blob.core.windows.net/enrollment/Publish.htm)

5) The Npower Batch C stream 2 applicant might be required to install this prerequisite separately before clicking the Install button.

Biometrics Prerequisite for either 32-bit Installation or 64-bit Installation

The following prerequisite is required and will be installed during the installation:

.NET Desktop Runtimes

I repeat If these components are already installed, the Npower batch C applicant might skip the entire installation process and just launch the application.

6) The Npower batch C applicant should click the install button to install the prerequisites and run the application.(skip this step if software drivers are already installed,)

It is recommended that Npower batch C applicant carry out this operation using a laptop or a desktop computer system, since the application runs on 34bit/64bit windows operating system.

7) The Npower Batch C applicant should click on “Install” to install the NASIMS Npower Biometrics Prerequisite application on the computer or other high calibre device.(please skip this part if biometrics app had already been installed)

Step 7: After the installation, the Npower Batch C applicant should click on “Launch” to run the application/software. Then the Npower Batch C applicant should follow the onscreen instructions to capture his or her fingerprint and complete the Npower Batch C biometrics fingerprint enrollment of the biometric data, you are to login into the biometrics application using your Npower ID and password.

Please note, when you get to the cybercafe please ensure it was the cybercafe used by previous Npower batch c stream 1 volunteers, otherwise please ensure they have the biometrics software on their computer system otherwise the entire biometrics process will continue giving you the error message.
