Npower

Npower was set up by the Buhari led administration to alleviate poverty among youths and to make them entrepreneurs and employers of labour. Npower is divided into two categories, the Npower graduate categories and the Npower non graduate categories. Npower graduate categories will last for 12 months in which Npower pays Npower beneficiaries a monthly stipend of ₦30,000, Npower pays monthly stipend of ₦10,000 to Npower non graduate categories, according to Npower the Npower non graduate categories lasts for nine months, which is divided into three months in camp training and six months apprenticeship training in which Npower non graduate categories are trained and mentored under an industry of their choice.

Npower test is usually conducted online on the Npower portal after the Npower beneficiaries must have met all requirements for the Npower programme, the test is usually based on general knowledge, according to Npower when the Npower applicant passes the test, an invitation is sent to the Npower applicant from Npower to complete biometrics screening exercise.

The Npower biometrics captures the fingerprint details of the Npower applicant using the Npower biometrics enrollment software, and this is done through the Npower portal using the laptop and the biometrics fingerprint reader, once the Npower biometrics is completed then the Npower applicant is invited for Npower verification.

Npower verification is a process in which the documents uploaded on the Npower portal by the Npower applicant is checked and screened by Npower, once all copies of the documents presented at the Npower verification site matches all documents and information on the Npower portal them the Npower applicant no longer becomes an applicant but now an Npower beneficiary which reflects on the Npower portal.

Npower payment is known as Npower payroll on the Npower portal, and it shows details of all Npower payment made to an Npower beneficiary by Npower for a particular month, the payment ID, payment month, status of payment and other details regarding Npower payment. Npower beneficiaries can quickly see details of their payment status on the Npower portal through the payroll tab.

Npower deployment shows the deployment status and redeployment process of the Npower beneficiary, Npower beneficiaries can download their acceptance letter or deployment letter and can also upload their signed deployment letters back to the Npower portal through the deployment tab.

The Npower validation process was recently introduced by Npower to help Npower beneficiaries with Npower payment issues in order to get details of their Npower ID, BVN, NIN, Account Numbers, Bank and Account names, so that Npower can use this information to fix their Npower payment issues, Npower validation is for Npower beneficiaries with Npower payment issues, and if done properly will help the Npower beneficiary to get Npower payment from Npower, Npower beneficiaries with Npower payment issues that fails to complete the Npower validation will not receive Npower payment.
