Npower News: Kano State Government Kicks Off ₦50,000 Monthly Federal Government Grant To Empower 5200 Women

According to Npower News, the Governor of Kano State Abba Kabir Yusuf revealed that he will be disbursing 5200 women ₦50,000 federal government grant monthly until his tenure as executive governor of kano state comes to an end, the federal government grant will be used to boost Small and Medium Enterprises in Kano. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf made this statement on Twitter.


Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf  stated:


In our resolve to boost Small and Medium Enterprises in Kano State, I had the pleasure of launching a monthly empowerment program providing ₦50,000 each to 5,200 women in the state.


Each of the different sets of 5,200 women spread across the 44 Local Government areas of the state would receive the cash, totaling ₦260,000,000, every month until the conclusion of my tenure.


The program, which is managed by the Community Re-orientation Committee (CRC), entails assisting 100 women from each of the 36 rural Local Governments and 200 women from each of the 8 metropolitan LGAs.



It is also noteworthy that this assistance serves as a gesture of gratitude to our women folk for their overwhelming support and commitment during the 2023 elections.
