Federal Government of Nigeria To Commence Training Of Shortlisted The Skill Up Artisan Program SUPA Program Applicants
The Skill Up Artisan Program SUPA management and the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has announced the beginning of the training of 5,000,000 youths across the federation under the Skill Up Artisan Program SUPA.
Applicants that enrolled for the the Skill Up Artisan Program SUPA program, should expect training invitation, one hundred thousand artisans will be selected in the first batch of the SUPA training program.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had given the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) the authority to up-skill artisans across the seven hundred and seventy four local government areas in Nigeria.
The aim of the SUPA programme was to lift Nigerian artisans to international standards, where trainees could favourably compete with artisans internationally as well as get adequately remunerated for their outputs.
As part of efforts in the implementation of the Slill-Up Artisan programme, the Industrial Training Fund - ITF Centre for Excellence has earlier organized a workshop for staff of the Industrial Training Fund titled DIGITAL SKILLS TRAINING TO PROMOTE AND ACTUALIZE SUPA FOR REVENUE GENERATION IN THE INDUSTRIAL TRAINING FUND.
The SUPA training Workshop Programme was established to equip staff of the fund digital skills to enhance productivity, efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
