N-Power: Kano To Assist Beneficiaries

Kano will assist the exited N- Power beneficiaries in the state.
The State Commissioner of Information, Malam Muhammad Garba disclosed this while receiving the N-Power Beneficiaries Association Kano State in his office.
The Commissioner said government could not employ all youth who graduated from various schools but can assist them to be self employed through its various empowerment programmes.
He emphasized the need for entrepreneurial courses and vocational training for students which will help in addressing the increase of youth unemployment in the state.
Garba commended the exited N-Power beneficiaries who managed to start some businesses from their monthly allowances.
Earlier, the Chairman, N-Power Beneficiaries Kano State, Assalafi Isa Ibrahim explained that the Association has 1,654 members in the state.
He requested the state government to consider their members in its employment and empowerment programmes.
The Chairman commended the efforts of the state government for initiating various youth and women empowerment programmes in the state with a view to alleviating poverty among them.
