N-Power: ₦420,000,000,000 Budgeted For NSIP

The Federal Government of Nigeria has budgeted a whopping sum of ₦420,000,000,000 to run the affairs of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), in an attempt to curtail the rising unemployment in the country and to restore credibility in the scheme.
The N-Power scheme and the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) programme and other component will engulf 52.6% of the ₦420,000,000,000 made available by 2021.
The Federal Government is committed to alleviating poverty and unemployment with these plan.
There are over 500,000 disengaged N-Power volunteers at the moment, waiting for the Transition plan of the Federal Government.
The same government will bring in 400,000 new N-Power volunteers by the end of 2020, more Nigerian youth will have the opportunity to explore the Federal Government initiatives and create wealth for themselves.
