Npower News: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Orders Interior Minister, Olubunmi Tunji Ojo To Appear At The Presidential Villa In Connection To ₦438,000,000 Scandal

According to Npower News, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reportedly ordered the Minister of Interior, Mr. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo to appear at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in connection to ₦438,000,000 scandal.


Reports have it that the summon was as a result of a contract between the ex-Minister in charge of Npower Dr. Betta Edu, and Planet Projects Limited, a company owned by Olubunmi Tunji Ojo .


According to Npower News, the meeting between Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to take place very soon.


According to Npower News, Mr. Tunji Ojo is a major shareholder of the company as at the 14th of November, 2023, according to records from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).


According to Npower News, the ex-Minister in charge of Npower, Dr. Betta Edu was relieved from her role as minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday for payment of ₦585,000,000 belonging to the poor and vulnerable groups into a personal account.
