Npower News: Disbursement Of The ₦50,000 Federal Government Grant Continues

According to Npower News, the disbursement of the ₦50,000 federal government grant will continue in the coming days/weeks up until the end of May. According to statistics on the federal government grant portal 850,000 Nigerians are expected to receive the federal government grant this month, May 2024. Hon (Dr) Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite MD,CFA the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, said in previous publications and through her twitter handle that applicants yet to receive the federal government grant are to exercise patience as the federal government grant will continue up until the end of the month.

According to the Minister, applicants that applied earlier when the NIN column was not made available on the federal government grant portal are to update their NIN, failure to update your NIN means you will not receive the federal government grant, applicants that applied earlier can visit the federal government grant portal and update their NIN. Beneficiaries that received the federal government grant but got a message to come for physical screening/capturing are to ignore the message, this message is for applicants that are yet to receive their federal government grant and omitted an information when registering for the federal government grant. The federal government grant will be disbursed to about 1291 beneficiaries in all 774 local government nationwide. In order to be eligible for the federal government grant, the applicant must have completed the federal government grant registration, applicant must have a nano business, and applicant must have an NIN. The NIN is used to avoid duplicate applications with respect to the federal government grant.
