Npower News: How To Complete The Federal Government Grant NIN Verification And How To Check If Your NIN Was Verified
According to Npower News, applicants that completed their federal government grant application when provisions was not made for the NIN are to complete their NIN verification process, without passing the NIN verification the applicant will not receive the federal government grant, according to the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite the NIN is very important as this ensures that their are no duplicate in the federal government grant application process. In order to complete the NIN verification the applicant must follow the process below.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GRANT NIN VERIFICATION IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GRANT
The applicant must follow all steps below to complete the federal government grant, kindly note that the NIN verification is for applicants that applied earlier when the NIN column was not provided on the federal government grant portal.
1) The applicant should click the link https://grant.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng/auth/nin/register
2) After clicking the above link the applicant is taken to the federal government grant portal, the applicant should input the phone number used for the federal government grant application.
3) After inputting your phone number into the space provided, a one time password will be sent into your phone as text message.
4) Copy the one time password quickly and go back to the federal government grant portal and enter the password into the space provided and also enter your NIN.
5) Click submit to complete the federal government grant NIN verification.
6) Once completed a prompt will be displayed saying that your NIN verification was successful
Some applicants that registered for the federal government grant might want to check if they passed the NIN verification or might not be sure if they actually did the NIN verification. Applicants can check if their NIN was verified or not by using the steps below.
HOW TO CHECK IF YOUR NIN WAS VERIFIED
Applicants that have completed their NIN verification and want to check if their NIN was verified or not can use the steps below:
1) The applicant should click on the link https://grant.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng/auth/nin/register
2) Input the phone number used for the federal government grant application
3) Once you get the prompt "NIN already updated" on the federal government grant portal, it simply means that your NIN was verified and you passed the NIN verification and likely to receive the federal government grant. If the prompt says "phone number not found" then you did not pass the NIN verification.
