Npower News has clarified that recent online information instructing Batch C Stream 2 beneficiaries to dial a code to check their application status on the NASIMS portal and proceed with biometrics is false. This was part of an older announcement made during the onboarding process of Batch C Stream 2 beneficiaries. 

Beneficiaries are advised to be patient while awaiting their Npower payments and to disregard unverified information. Additionally, Npower Batch C beneficiaries are encouraged to explore other federal government initiatives, such as the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund, conditional cash grants, and other social investment programs.
