Npower Beneficiaries Present Four-Point Agenda to Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs

Recent updates from Npower indicate that the Executive Committee of the National Association of Npower Beneficiaries has arrived in Abuja to meet with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation on Monday, October 7th. However, some members, including the Npower chairman from Zaria and other delegates, were still en route at the time of this report.

Adeshina A. Adex, the Publicity Secretary of Npower, stated that the Association intends to submit a four-point agenda to the Ministry:

1. Settle the unpaid stipends for nine to twelve months.

2. Provide beneficiaries with an exit package in the form of grants or loans.

3. Offer permanent roles in the civil service to program participants.

4. Lift the current suspension on the Npower program, enabling Batch D registration for new applicants.

Adeshina also encouraged all Npower beneficiaries across the country to support the Association, pray for the success of their advocacy, and help spread their messages to other Npower groups to raise awareness.
