Beneficiary

A beneficiary is one who has completed all the phases of the Npower program such as Npower preregistration, Npower biometrics, Npower physical verification, Npower deployment and is on the payroll of the Npower program.

A beneficiary is entitled to Npower monthly stipend, a beneficiary under the Npower graduate programme will receive ₦30,000 while a beneficiary under the non graduate programme will get ₦10,000.

A person without the beneficiary status on the Npower portal simply means that the person was not selected, such persons will either see applicant or shortlisted on the Npower portal, this arises because the person in question did not complete all the phases of the Npower program, such persons will not receive the Npower monthly stipend and will have no data under the payroll tab on the Npower portal.

A beneficiary might cease to be a beneficiary if the beneficiary violates the guidelines of the Npower program, once these guidelines are violated the beneficiary will be removed from the payroll of the Npower program, violation includes abscondment, absenteeism, insubordination to supervisors or department heads, principal, head master or head mistress, once the beneficiary violates the policies of the Npower program the beneficiary will no longer receive monthly stipend.

A beneficiary also after the Npower program will be moved to other exit packages and transition programmes which others that are not beneficiary might not be given the opportunity.

A beneficiary under the Npower program must upload the acceptance or rejection letter to the Npower portal as an evidence that he or she is a beneficiary of the Npower program, a beneficiary that fails to attach the acceptance letter or deployment letter to the Npower portal might cease to be a beneficiary because uploading of the deployment letter shows that the beneficiary has completed the deployment phase which is the last phase of the Npower program.
